Our history

2008

During 2008 we focus strongly to keep up our growth rate on existing and new markets. We are also developing our service and are strenghening our local marketing efforts.


2007

This fall Projectplace.dk was launched in Denmark. The company has taken the first steps towards an IPO on the OMX Nordic Exchange.

2006

Through a co-operation agreement with Netviewer, Projectplace's customers gain access to a powerful online meeting tool. In the autumn the service is launched in French and the tool is now available in six languages.


2005

Pelle Hjortblad is appointed as CEO. Former CEO and co-founder Mattias Hällström focuses on product development in the role of Director of Research and Development.


2004

A market focus towards IT-related projects is initiated. Customer satisfaction surveys indicate a 92% custom¬er satisfaction rate.


2003

Flat rate subscriptions are launched for large customers. After some years in a build-up phase, the company reports good full-year profits.


2002

A large number of customers sign enterprise agreements. The web service is supplemented with new tools for project portfolio man¬agement and support for knowledge recovery from projects.


2001

In the spring, a new web service in German is launched via Projectplace.de. A sales office is set up in Germany.


2000

A large number of customers sign enterprise agreements. The web service is supplemented with new tools for project portfolio man¬agement and support for knowledge recovery from projects.


1999

Prosjektplassen.no is launched in Norway during the autumn. Meanwhile, the Swedish version is quickly making a name for itself as a market leading project tool in Sweden.


1998

Projectplace is founded in Stockholm, Sweden, by Mattias Hällström, Magnus Ingvarsson and Peter Engstedt. The web services Projektplatsen.se and Projectplace.com are launched.
