Projectplace goal is to give our customers the highest possible availability of the service. Akamai's solution helps us achieve that goal. Through the new network platform our response time has decreased and the service’s performance is improved. The service is faster, especially in non-European countries, but also on our fast growing markets, Germany and The Netherlands.

How does Akamai work?
Akamai is one of the world's largest server networks, with 42 000 servers located at Internet Service Providers in 70 countries. When a user logs on to Projectplace, traffic is sent to the closest Akamai server to identify the fastest and most reliable way back to our servers where the information is retrieved or delivered. Using techniques such as mirroring, compression for retrieval and traffic management services company is accelerating significantly and ensures that all information will be presented.
