WHAT’S NEW?
On the 14th of June we release a completely new version of the Project Office. The new version features improved account administration, better performance and new design. We hope that the target group for this release, FlatRate Account Administrators, will find it easier than ever to work with Projectplace.
 
NEWS FOR ALL USERS

• We have extended our support for certain multimedia formats. Now Flash, QuickTime and RealMedia files can be opened directly from Projectplace
• The term" Project Owner" is replaced by "Head Administrator" to avoid confusion with the project's originator, who is often referred to as the owner

NEWS FOR ADMINISTRATORS OF FLATRATE ACCOUNTS

New functionality:
-- The Account Administrator can change Head Administrator (previously Project Owner) of any project in the account.
-- The Account Administrator can invite people straight into the account. The people invited do not need to have a previous user account with Projectplace.
--Increased functionality for Portfolio Owners includes the possibility to add and remove projects in the portfolio, as well as terminating the portfolio.

Improved Performance
-- Improved performance makes all searches much faster.

New "look and feel" with modern design and logical structure
-- The graphical interface is modern, consistent and elegant and the different functions are more logically structured.
-- The improved structure also makes information about users, projects and portfolios easier to find than before.

This release has been preceded by user analysis and interviews to find areas to improve. The new design has undergone usability tests with the expertise of the company InUse. The test results have helped us to further improve the design and usability.
