Tweener in action
OK, so lots of people asked me what a Tweener is. My tech answer is:
- It's a strategy for delegating the response of animating objects on the screen.
Clear as mud? Well, forget the tech stuff then. Let's try this:
- When you want smooth animation in your applications, consider using Tweener. Because it makes lots of such tasks really easy.
A picture says more than a thousand words. If a video says more than a thousand pictures, here's the worth of a million words:
What's happening here is that we're tweening the P thingy whenever the user is dropping it. It's actually smoother than it looks in the video, but you get the picture?
