The Eurovision Song Contest 2012 in Baku in Azerbaijan was won by singer Loreen with her song “Euphoria”. Loreen’s win means that the huge 2013 festival is now set to take place in Malmö in Sweden in May. Projectplace ensures that the music project runs smoothly and that all those involved receive the information they need, when they need it, no matter where they are in the world.
As soon as Loreen’s victory was confirmed, the project wheels began turning for the 58th edition of the music contest. There is a huge amount to be organised and arranged in the run-up to such a large event as the Eurovision Song Contest, in which 39 countries participate.
Shared project area crucial
“Quite early on, we identified the need for a shared platform for communication, scheduling and file-sharing,” says Christel Tholse Willers, Head of Relations for Eurovision Song Contest Malmö 2013.
Eurovision Song Contest compared and evaluated a number of different options before choosing Projectplace.
