With more than 400 offices and over 4 million users, SAS Institute is one of the largest software providers in the world. The company develops and sells business intelligence software to a range of different industries including banking, insurance, telecommunications, retail and the public sector.

SAS Insitute runs a large number of projects every year and since 2002 it has used for both internal and external projects. External projects are often focused on SAS software implementations or upgrades and frequently involve consultants from one of SAS Insitute's partners. A collaboration tool to coordinate project documentation and communication is essential, and easy access for all parties involved is key to success.
